We’re excited to get our Rotary family out into the community for an afternoon of cleaning up Campbell River, connecting with others and having some fun! We chose Thursday, October 1 because it worked well with Boston Pizza’s availability and gives us the best opportunity for our members and community volunteers to participate.
Meet at the Maritime Heritage Centre (Lighthouse Entrance), at 4:00 p.m. to get cleanup-area details, pick up free biodegradable garbage bags, and join a team. Or, grab a bag and clean up an area in your own neighbourhood that needs some TLC!
THEN LET’S CELEBRATE! Starting at 7:00 p.m., we’ll gather at Boston Pizza for a community social. Come relax, connect, laugh and celebrate a job well done! A huge THANK YOU to Chris Seeley, franchisee, and the Boston Pizza team for generously providing a free basic nacho platter for every table of four participating in the cleanup! PLEASE COME OUT — AND BRING YOUR PEOPLE! We’d love to see as many Rotary members as possible participating, and please invite your friends, family, neighbours and coworkers to join us!
