Our club was founded in 1946 and we are over 90 members strong. Our community is a scenic oceanfront city on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We are blessed with an abundance of natural beauty, mild weather year round, and many outdoor activities.
We meet at noon every Wednesday with great club spirit and fellowship. We participate in a wide-range of community, youth, and international projects including hosting international students in our community and sponsoring local students to visit other nations through Youth Exchange.
Over the years, our Club has put millions of dollars and tens of thousands of volunteer hours into making our community and our world a better place to live.
The over 90 Rotary Clubs in our district combined typically donate over 400,000 volunteer hours and several million dollars annually to making our communities and the world a better place.
Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in over 35,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self".

Our President
Amy Stevenson
In her year as President, in these challenging times of the pandemic, Amy will work with club members to continue to find ways to support and contribute to the Campbell River community. Key goals for the year include ensuring that every member has found at least one of the many varied and valuable Rotary areas of service and is able to experience the many benefits of being a Rotary club member.
