It’s an honour to serve as President of this great club once again, I’m looking forward to a year of good ideas, good friends, good projects, raising the most we can from the annual TV auction and, of course, a few good lunches along the way!

Our Rotary theme this year is “Create Lasting Impact.” To me, that’s really what Rotary is all about. We bring together people from different backgrounds and professions, share ideas, and then—rather than just talking about them—we roll up our sleeves and get things done.

Our club has a long history of making a difference in Campbell River and beyond. Whether it’s supporting local families, helping young people, raising funds for important causes, or simply lending a hand when it’s needed, every contribution matters.

We’re also fortunate to be part of an organization whose Rotary Foundation has one of the highest charitable ratings in the world. That means our generosity can reach far beyond our own community and help create lasting change around the world.

But perhaps the best thing about Rotary is the people. We work hard, we have fun, we laugh at ourselves, and we’re not afraid to occasionally disagree about the best way to do something

If you’re curious and maybe even interested about Rotary, I encourage you to come out, meet us, and see what we’re all about. You might discover that giving back to your community is even more enjoyable when you’re doing it with friends.

Let’s have some fun, do some good, and Create Lasting Impact together.
